Banner Engineering’s K50Z Multipoint Sensor delivers reliable measurement across a wide area, ensuring detection of irregularly-shaped objects like mesh carts or pallets with holes. It can also measure inconsistently placed items like large automotive parts on a conveyor or boxes filling a cart, useful for overfill and underfill prevention. Instead of employing multiple single-point sensors, the K50Z uses 3D time-of-flight technology and a wide beam angle to detect objects up to 2 meters away using 64 measurement points. It can be configured to measure two separate areas, effectively doing the work of two sensors in one convenient device.
