Pepperl+Fuchs introduces the NEW KCD2-SLD-EX2.1545-Y1, the first two-channel solenoid driver offered in a compact, 12.5mm housing. This is the maximum channel density offered in the market at 6mm per channel. The modern input circuitry is designed to work with all major DCS manufacturer’s digital output cards. Featuring Line Fault Transparency, these modules can detect line faults and send the fault signal on the same connection as the control signal, allowing for less wiring and I/O card space. The new driver also works with either loop powered or logic output control cards. Additional features include test pulse immunity, selectable functionality for each channel, and Div 2 / Zone 2 mounting. Certifications include cULus, ATEX, and IECEx.
