The RSio Remote Safe I/O block expands Banner Engineering’s safety portfolio by integrating In-Series Diagnostics (ISD) directly into CIP Safety™ systems. Featuring six independently configurable hybrid I/O ports and two configurable outputs, RSio supports both safety-rated and standard devices on a single block. Setup is handled entirely in Studio 5000® using a Banner-provided Add-On Profile with preset configurations for common safety devices—simplifying integration while extending Cat 4 PLe/SIL3 safety coverage and reducing panel space and wiring.
